Jay is a Louisville native, who studied at Vanderbilt University and pursued a career in corporate America after graduation. The Lord called him, at age 40, to leave his business career and devote his life to pastoral ministry. He earned an M.Div. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and planted Throne of Grace Community Church in 2012, currently serving as Preaching Pastor. Jay and his wife Liz have been married since 1994 and have two daughters together, Katherine and Maggie.

Jake move to Louisville from Eastern Kentucky in 2015. He put his trust in Christ at the age of twenty and within a year of following Jesus, he perceived a call to pastoral ministry. Initially, Jake, moved to Louisville to restart his undergraduate degree at Boyce College. Within just a few weeks of living in town, he visited and joined Throne of Grace. After being a member for two years, he was brought on staff as the youth minister. Fast forward to 2023, he was ordained by TOGCC to pastor alongside Jay. (Currently, Jake serves bivocationally, he also works for Schneider Electric.) You are likely to see Jake walking his dog, Russ, in the church neighborhood where he lives.

David grew up in North Florida and moved to Louisville in 2014 to pursue an undergraduate degree at Boyce College in worship and pastoral studies. Upon arriving to Louisville he visited Throne of Grace and joined shortly thereafter. David has served as an intern and in a part-time capacity in leading worship throughout his time at Throne of Grace and was brought on full-time in 2022. David and his wife Katherine have been married since 2016 and have one daughter together, Louise.
